Port Arthur Historic Site: If you are really interested in history, allow at least 4 hours to explore the site. This is the best example of a restored Australian Convict Penal Colony in Australia. It gives a very authentic and accurate account of the Convict System in the 1800’s.

Eaglehawk Neck: This narrow neck of land is what made the Tasman Peninsula a natural prison. Fierce dogs were chained across the Neck to stop escaped convicts getting away. The sea cliffs and coastal formations to the east of Eaglehawk Neck are amazing.

Tasman Island Adventure Cruise: Take in the sea cliffs and the spectacular scenery from water level on the Tasman Island Adventure Cruise.  It leaves Port Arthur daily. Your trip to Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula is not complete without it.
